has previously released two audio compilation projects “The Tapes: Femme Mix: Vol 1 and Femme Mix: Vol. 2,” both crowd-sourced and set up as fundraisers for local grassroots organizations, featuring various talents from THE SPELL community. These Tapes fundraised for G.L.I.T.S., supporting holistic health and rights crises faced by transgender sex workers, and Drive Change NYC, a fellowship program for formerly-incarcerated youth in culinary arts and professional development.

Since 2018, THE SPELL has been an improvisational monthly “connective art, music, and community space created to generate empowerment, friendships, and self expression.” Mostly taking place in the Broadway Triangle neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, the Jam Sessions have grown a significant loyal following due to their mission to provide safety and welcome free expression and artistic embodiment from all in attendance.
